Manusmriti
सर्वं कर्मैदमायत्तं विधाने दैवमानुषे । तयोर्दैवमचिन्त्यं तु मानुषे विद्यते क्रिया ॥ २०५ ॥
All undertakings (in) this (world) depend both on the ordering of fate and on human exertion; but among these two (the ways of) fate are unfathomable; in the case of man’s work action is possible.
english translation
sarvaM karmaidamAyattaM vidhAne daivamAnuSe । tayordaivamacintyaM tu mAnuSe vidyate kriyA ॥ 205 ॥
