उच्चावचेषु भूतेषु दुर्ज्ञेयामकृतात्मभिः । ध्यानयोगेन सम्पश्येद् गतिमस्यान्तरात्मनः ॥ ७३ ॥

sanskrit

Let him recognise by the practice of meditation the progress of the individual soul through beings of various kinds, (a progress) hard to understand for unregenerate men.

english translation

uccAvaceSu bhUteSu durjJeyAmakRtAtmabhiH | dhyAnayogena sampazyed gatimasyAntarAtmanaH || 73 ||
