पतिं या नाभिचरति मनोवाग्देहसंयुता । सा भर्तृलोकमाप्नोति सद्भिः साध्वीति चोच्यते ॥ १६५ ॥

sanskrit

She who, controlling her thoughts, words, and deeds, never slights her lord, resides (after death) with her husband (in heaven), and is called a virtuous (wife).

english translation

patiM yA nAbhicarati manovAgdehasaMyutA । sA bhartRlokamApnoti sadbhiH sAdhvIti cocyate ॥ 165 ॥
