आचम्यौदक्परावृत्य त्रिरायम्य शनैरसून् । षड् ऋतूंश्च नमस्कुर्यात् पितॄनेव च मन्त्रवत् ॥ २१७ ॥

sanskrit

Having (next) sipped water, turned round (towards the north), and thrice slowly suppressed his breath, (the sacrificer) who knows the sacred texts shall worship (the guardian deities of) the six seasons and the manes.

english translation

AcamyaudakparAvRtya trirAyamya zanairasUn | SaD RtUMzca namaskuryAt pitRRneva ca mantravat || 217 ||
