ताडयित्वा तृणेनापि कण्ठे वाऽबध्य वाससा । विवादे वा विनिर्जित्य प्रणिपत्य प्रसादयेत् ॥ २०५ ॥

sanskrit

He who has struck (a Brahmana) even with a blade of grass, tied him by the neck with a cloth, or conquered him in an altercation, shall appease him by a prostration.

english translation

tADayitvA tRNenApi kaNThe vA'badhya vAsasA | vivAde vA vinirjitya praNipatya prasAdayet || 205 ||
