कथं परणिपतेच चायम इह कृत्वा पणं परम वनवासाद विमुक्तस तु पराप्तः पैतामहं पदम ।। ५-३-९ ।।

sanskrit

‘And how can Yudhishthira, having faithfully observed the stipulations of the game, now be expected to humble himself, when he has completed his period of exile and is fully entitled to his ancestral throne?’ ।। 5-3-9 ।।

english translation

kathaM paraNipateca cAyama iha kRtvA paNaM parama vanavAsAda vimuktasa tu parAptaH paitAmahaM padama || 5-3-9 ||
