एवंगते धर्मसुतस्य राज्ञॊ; दुर्यॊधनस्यापि च यद धितं सयात तच चिन्तयध्वं कुरुपाण्डवानां; धर्म्यं च युक्तं च यशः करं च ।। ५-१-१३ ।।
‘Given this, it is now for you to consider what course of action will be for the good of both Yudhishthira and Duryodhana, what will be consistent with righteousness and propriety regarding the Kurus and the Pandavas, and what will gain the approval of all.’ ।। 5-1-13 ।।
