विविशुस ते सभां तां तु पुनर एव महारथाः वयथयन्ति सम चेतांसि सुहृदां भरतर्षभाः ॥ २-६७-६ ॥
'Knowing well the deceit practiced by Sakuni, the son of Pritha returned to the dice game with him. The mighty warriors re-entered the assembly, causing distress to all their friends.' ॥ 2-67-6 ॥

यथॊपजॊषम आसीनाः पुनर्द्यूतप्रवृत्तये सर्वलॊकविनाशाय दैवेनॊपनिपीडिताः ॥ २-६७-७ ॥
'Driven by fate, they once again took their seats to gamble, leading to their own destruction.' ॥ 2-67-7 ॥

शकुनिर उवाच अमुञ्चत सथविरॊ यद वॊ धनं पूजितम एव तत महाधनं गलहं तव एकं शृणु मे भरतर्षभ ॥ २-६७-८ ॥
'Sakuni then said: The old king has returned all your wealth, which is well. However, O bull of the Bharata race, listen to me: there is a new stake of great value.' ॥ 2-67-8 ॥

वयं दवादश वर्षाणि युष्माभिर दयूतनिर्जिताः परविशेम महारण्यं रौरवाजिनवाससः ॥ २-६७-९ ॥
'If you are defeated in this game, you and Krishna must spend twelve years in the forest dressed in deer skins, and the entire thirteenth year in a populated area, unrecognized.' ॥ 2-67-9 ॥

तरयॊदशं च सजने अज्ञाताः परिवत्सरम जञाताश च पुनर अन्यानि वने वर्षाणि दवादश ॥ २-६७-१० ॥
'If you are recognized during that time, you will face an additional twelve years of exile.' ॥ 2-67-10 ॥
