अथाब्रवीन महाराजॊ गान्धारीं धर्मदर्शिनीम अन्तः कामं कुलस्यास्तु न शक्ष्यामि निवारितुम ॥ २-६६-३६ ॥
'The king, thus addressed by Gandhari who had shown him the path of virtue, replied: 'If the destruction of our lineage is inevitable, let it happen as it will. I am unable to prevent it.'' ॥ 2-66-36 ॥
english translation
athAbravIna mahArAjò gAndhArIM dharmadarzinIma antaH kAmaM kulasyAstu na zakSyAmi nivArituma ॥ 2-66-36 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptयथेच्छन्ति तथैवास्तु परत्यागच्छन्तु पाण्डवाः पुनर्द्यूतं परकुर्वन्तु मामकाः पाण्डवैः सह ॥ २-६६-३७ ॥
'I am unable to prevent it. Let it be according to their desires. Let the Pandavas return, and let my sons engage in the game of dice with them once more.' ॥ 2-66-37 ॥

yathecchanti tathaivAstu paratyAgacchantu pANDavAH punardyUtaM parakurvantu mAmakAH pANDavaiH saha ॥ 2-66-37 ॥
