समरन्ति सुकृतान्य एव न वैराणि कृतान्य अपि सन्तः परतिविजानन्तॊ लब्ध्वा परत्ययम आत्मनः ॥ २-६५-९ ॥
'The virtuous, empathetic to their own emotions, comprehend others' feelings. Thus, they cherish only the kindness of their adversaries, disregarding hostilities.' ॥ 2-65-9 ॥
english translation
samaranti sukRtAnya eva na vairANi kRtAnya api santaH parativijAnantò labdhvA paratyayama AtmanaH ॥ 2-65-9 ॥
