[ष] बहु वित्तं पराजैषीः पाण्डवानां युधिष्ठिर आचक्ष्व वित्तं कौन्तेय यदि ते ऽसत्य अपराजितम ॥ २-५८-१ ॥

'Sakuni said, 'O Yudhishthira, you have lost much of the Pandavas' wealth. If there is anything left that you have not yet lost to us, O son of Kunti, tell us what it is!'' ॥ 2-58-1 ॥

english translation

[य] मम वित्तम असंख्येयं यद अहं वेद सौबल अथ तवं शकुने कस्माद वित्तं समनुपृच्छसि ॥ २-५८-२ ॥

'Yudhishthira said, "O son of Suvala, I know that my wealth is beyond measure. But why, O Sakuni, do you ask me about my wealth?"' ॥ 2-58-2 ॥

english translation

अयुतं परयुतं चैव खर्वं पद्मं तथार्बुदम शङ्खं चैव निखर्वं च समुद्रं चात्र पण्यताम एतन मम धनं राजंस तेन दीव्याम्य अहं तवया ॥ २-५८-३ ॥

'Let tens of thousands, millions, tens of millions, hundreds of millions, billions, tens of billions, hundreds of billions, trillions, tens of trillions, hundreds of trillions, quadrillions, tens of quadrillions, hundreds of quadrillions, and even more wealth be staked by you. I have as much. With that wealth, O King, I will gamble with you.' ॥ 2-58-3 ॥

english translation

[व] एतच छरुत्वा वयवसितॊ निकृतिं समुपाश्रितः जितम इत्य एव शकुनिर युधिष्ठिरम अभाषत ॥ २-५८-४ ॥

'Hearing this, and having made up his mind, relying on deceit, Sakuni said to Yudhishthira, "You are defeated."' ॥ 2-58-4 ॥

english translation

[य] गवाश्वं बहुधेनूकम असंख्येयम अजाविकम यत किं चिद अनुवर्णानां पराक सिन्धॊर अपि सौबल एतन मम धनं राजंस तेन दीव्याम्य अहं तवया ॥ २-५८-५ ॥

'Yudhishthira said, "O son of Suvala, I possess immeasurable wealth in the form of cows, horses, milch cows with calves, goats, and sheep in the region extending from the Parnasa to the eastern bank of the Sindhu. With this wealth, O King, I will gamble with you."' ॥ 2-58-5 ॥
