नारभेत परसामर्थ्यात पुरुषः कार्यम आत्मनः मतिसाम्यं दवयॊर नास्ति कार्येषु कुरुनन्दन ॥ २-५१-७ ॥

sanskrit

'He will, without doubt, dissuade you from the proposed action. No man should commit to a task-based solely on another's counsel, for, O descendant of the Kurus, the minds of two individuals rarely align on a single course of action.' ॥ 2-51-7 ॥

english translation

nArabheta parasAmarthyAta puruSaH kAryama AtmanaH matisAmyaM davayòra nAsti kAryeSu kurunandana ॥ 2-51-7 ॥
