कच चिद दारान मनुष्याणां तवार्थे मृत्युम एयुषाम वयसनं चाभ्युपेतानां बिभर्षि भरतर्षभ ॥ २-५-४४ ॥
'Do you, O noble descendant of Bharata, provide support for the wives and children of those who have sacrificed their lives for you and have suffered distress on your behalf?' ॥ 2-5-44 ॥
