बलिं च कृत्स्नम आदाय भरु कच्छ निवासिनः उपनिन्युर महाराज हयान गान्धारदेशजान ॥ २-४७-८ ॥
'The people dwelling in the regions of Bharu and Kachchha have gathered their complete tribute. They have brought to you, O great king, a special offering: horses originating from the Gandhara country.' ॥ 2-47-8 ॥

baliM ca kRtsnama AdAya bharu kaccha nivAsinaH upaninyura mahArAja hayAna gAndhAradezajAna ॥ 2-47-8 ॥
