न हि धर्मॊ ऽसति ते भीष्म बरह्मचर्यम इदं वृथा यद धारयसि मॊहाद वा कलीबत्वाद वा न संशयः ॥ २-३८-२४ ॥
'O Bhishma, this celibacy you maintain, whether out of ignorance or impotence, is ultimately fruitless. You maintain it either out of delusion or due to a lack of capability, without any doubt.' ॥ 2-38-24 ॥
english translation
na hi dharmò 'sati te bhISma barahmacaryama idaM vRthA yada dhArayasi mòhAda vA kalIbatvAda vA na saMzayaH ॥ 2-38-24 ॥
