परतिजग्राह तत कृष्णः शास्र दृष्टेन कर्मणा शिशुपालस तु तां पूजां वासुदेवे न चक्षमे ॥ २-३३-३१ ॥
'Krishna accepted the Arghya by the prescribed rituals. However, Shishupala, the mighty king of Chedi, could not tolerate the worship offered to Vasudeva.' ॥ 2-33-31 ॥
