अन्नवान बहुभक्ष्यश च भुक्तवज जनसंवृतः रत्नॊपहार कर्मण्यॊ बभूव स समागमः ॥ २-३२-१६ ॥
'The vast assembly was abundantly provided with rice, various foods, and a wealth of jewels brought as tribute, ensuring that each guest was thoroughly well-fed.' ॥ 2-32-16 ॥
english translation
annavAna bahubhakSyaza ca bhuktavaja janasaMvRtaH ratnòpahAra karmaNyò babhUva sa samAgamaH ॥ 2-32-16 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptइडाज्य हॊमाहुतिभिर मन्त्रशिक्षा समन्वितैः तस्मिन हि ततृपुर देवास तते यज्ञे महर्षिभिः ॥ २-३२-१७ ॥
'The gods were pleased by the sacrifice through offerings of clarified butter, Homa (sacred fire rites), and libations, performed by great Rishis skilled in mantras and rituals.' ॥ 2-32-17 ॥
english translation
iDAjya hòmAhutibhira mantrazikSA samanvitaiH tasmina hi tatRpura devAsa tate yajJe maharSibhiH ॥ 2-32-17 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptयथा देवास तथा विप्रा दक्षिणान्न महाधनैः ततृपुः सर्ववर्णाश च तस्मिन यज्ञे मुदान्विताः ॥ २-३२-१८ ॥
'Similarly, the Brahmanas were delighted with the sacrificial gifts, abundant food, and substantial wealth. All other orders of people were also thoroughly gratified and filled with joy by the grandeur of the sacrifice.' ॥ 2-32-18 ॥
