राजभिश च समावृत्तैर अतीव शरीसमृद्धिभिः अशॊभत सदॊ राजन कौन्तेयस्य महात्मनः ॥ २-३२-१४ ॥
'They were adorned like celestial chariots, and the residences of the Brahmanas and the palaces built for the kings were similarly magnificent, embellished with gems and filled with every kind of wealth.' ॥ 2-32-14 ॥
