सुवर्णजालसंवीतान मणिकुट्टिम शॊभितान सुखारॊहण सॊपानान महासनपरिच्छदान ॥ २-३१-२१ ॥
'The windows were adorned with golden netting, and the interiors were embellished with rows of pearls. The staircases were easy to ascend, and the floors were covered with luxurious carpets.' ॥ 2-31-21 ॥

सरग्दाम समवछन्नान उत्तमागुरु गन्धिनः हंसांशु वर्णसदृशान आयॊजनसुदर्शनान ॥ २-३१-२२ ॥
'The mansions were adorned with garlands of flowers and perfumed with excellent aloes. They were as white as snow or the moon, appearing remarkably handsome even from a distance of a yojana.' ॥ 2-31-22 ॥

असंबाधान समद्वारान युतान उच्चावचैर गुणैः बहुधातुपिनद्धाङ्गान हिमवच्छिखरान इव ॥ २-३१-२३ ॥
'Their doors and entrances were uniformly set and wide enough to accommodate a large crowd. Constructed with various metals and decorated with costly items, they resembled the peaks of the Himavat.' ॥ 2-31-23 ॥

विश्रान्तास ते ततॊ ऽपश्यन भूमिपा भूरिदक्षिणम वृतं सदस्यैर बहुभिर धर्मराजं युधिष्ठिरम ॥ २-३१-२४ ॥
'Then, after resting, those kings saw Dharmaraja Yudhishthira, surrounded by many assembly members, He who gives abundant gifts.' ॥ 2-31-24 ॥

तत सदॊ पार्थिवैः कीर्णं बराह्मणैश च महात्मभिः भराजते सम तदा राजन नाकपृष्ठम इवामरैः ॥ २-३१-२५ ॥
'The sacrificial mansion, teeming with kings, Brahmanas, and great Rishis, appeared, O king, as splendid as heaven itself, crowded with the Gods.' ॥ 2-31-25 ॥
