निषादभूमिं गॊशृङ्गं पर्वत परवरं तथा तरसा वयजयद धीमाञ शरेणिमन्तं च पार्थिवम ॥ २-२८-५ ॥
'Endued with great intelligence, the Kuru warrior swiftly conquered the Nishada territory, the lofty hill of Goṣṛṅga, and the lord of the land, King Śreṇimanta.' ॥ 2-28-5 ॥

niSAdabhUmiM gòzRGgaM parvata paravaraM tathA tarasA vayajayada dhImAJa zareNimantaM ca pArthivama ॥ 2-28-5 ॥
