सत्यसंधॊ जरासंधं भुवि भीमपराक्रमम भागम अन्यस्य निर्दिष्टं वध्यं भूमिभृद अच्युतः ॥ २-२०-३३ ॥
'The truthful Achyuta (Krishna) ॥ considered॥ Jarasandha, of terrible prowess on earth, As the destined portion of another, to be slain, O King.' ॥ 2-20-33 ॥

satyasaMdhò jarAsaMdhaM bhuvi bhImaparAkramama bhAgama anyasya nirdiSTaM vadhyaM bhUmibhRda acyutaH ॥ 2-20-33 ॥
