गौतमः कषयणाद अस्माद अथासौ तत्र वेश्मनि भजते मागधं वंशं स नृपाणाम अनुग्रहात ॥ २-१९-६ ॥
'The continuation of the race descended from Gautama, still reigning amidst ordinary human monarchs, is a testament to Gautama's benevolence toward kings.' ॥ 2-19-6 ॥
english translation
gautamaH kaSayaNAda asmAda athAsau tatra vezmani bhajate mAgadhaM vaMzaM sa nRpANAma anugrahAta ॥ 2-19-6 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptअङ्गवङ्गादयश चैव राजानः सुमहाबलाः गौतम कषयम अभ्येत्य रमन्ते सम पुरार्जुन ॥ २-१९-७ ॥
'O Arjuna, it was here in ancient times that mighty monarchs from Anga, Vanga, and other lands visited Gautama's abode, spending their days in joy and contentment.' ॥ 2-19-7 ॥

aGgavaGgAdayaza caiva rAjAnaH sumahAbalAH gautama kaSayama abhyetya ramante sama purArjuna ॥ 2-19-7 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptवनराजीस तु पश्येमाः परियालानां मनॊरमाः लॊध्राणां च शुभाः पार्थ गौतमौकः समीपजाः ॥ २-१९-८ ॥
'Behold, O Partha, those forests of delightful Pippala and beautiful Lodhra trees standing near Gautama's abode.' ॥ 2-19-8 ॥

vanarAjIsa tu pazyemAH pariyAlAnAM manòramAH lòdhrANAM ca zubhAH pArtha gautamaukaH samIpajAH ॥ 2-19-8 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptअर्बुदः शक्र वापी च पन्नगौ शत्रुतापनौ सवस्तिकस्यालयश चात्र मणिनागस्य चॊत्तमः ॥ २-१९-९ ॥
'In ancient times, there dwelt the Nagas Arvuda, Sakravapin, and others, formidable enemies of their foes, alongside the excellent Nagas Swastika and Manu.' ॥ 2-19-9 ॥

arbudaH zakra vApI ca pannagau zatrutApanau savastikasyAlayaza cAtra maNinAgasya còttamaH ॥ 2-19-9 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptअपरिहार्या मेघानां मागधेयं मणेः कृते कौशिकॊ मणिमांश चैव ववृधाते हय अनुग्रहम ॥ २-१९-१० ॥
'Manu himself had decreed that the land of Magadha would never suffer from drought, and both Kaushika and Manimat had also blessed the land.' ॥ 2-19-10 ॥
