यौ तौ मया ते कथितौ पूर्वम एव महाबलौ तरयस तरयाणां लॊकानां पर्याप्ता इति मे मतिः ॥ २-१७-२६ ॥
'I have already told you everything about that mighty duo. Those two, along with Jarasandha, I believe, are more than capable of dominating the three worlds.' ॥ 2-17-26 ॥

'O valiant king, it was for this reason that the powerful Kukkura, Andhaka, and Vrishni tribes, acting out of strategic considerations, did not find it appropriate to engage in battle with him.' ॥ 2-17-27 ॥
