'Arjuna replied, "O virtuous one, if you feel you've been spared from imminent danger by my intervention, even so, I cannot compel you to do anything for me."' ।। 2-1-6 ।।
न चापि तव संकल्पं मॊघम इच्छामि दानव कृष्णस्य करियतां किं चित तथा परतिकृतं मयि ।। २-१-७ ।।
'At the same time, O Danava, I do not wish to thwart your intentions. Instead, do something for Krishna. That will suffice as a repayment for my assistance to you.' ।। 2-1-7 ।।
'Vaisampayana narrated, "Upon Maya's insistence, Vasudeva, the chief of the Bharatas, paused for a moment, contemplating what task to assign to Maya. Krishna, the Lord of the universe and the Creator of all things pondered deeply."' ।। 2-1-8 ।।
'Krishna then instructed him, "Maya, let the assembly hall be constructed." O Danava, what do you think about the construction of the hall by Dharmaraja's order?"' ।। 2-1-9 ।।
'Build a palace so magnificent that even after careful examination, people of the mortal world cannot replicate it, even while seated within.' ।। 2-1-10 ।।
