सुवसन्तकादिषु च योगे यो मे इमममुं च सम्पादयिष्यति तस्याद्य गमिष्यति मे दुहितेति मात्रा वाचयेत् ॥ ४६ ॥
For the spring festival and on other similar occasions, the mother sends messages stipulating that the first to copulate with her daughter will be the one who sends her certain gifts.

स्पर्धा का कारण --- वेश्या की माँ उसके नायकों से यह कहलवा दे कि सुबसन्तक आदि उत्सव पर यह उसी के साथ प्रथम समागम करेगी, जो इन इन वस्तुओं को लाकर उसे देगा ॥ ४६ ॥
