यस्योत्तमस्याभिगमने प्रत्यक्षतोऽर्थलाभो ग्रहणीयत्वमायतिरागमः प्रार्थनीयत्वं चान्येषां स्यात्सोऽर्थोऽर्थानुबन्धः ॥ १३ ॥
Having had an excellent sexual relationship with someone, she expects that her monetary earnings, when she receives them, will show a tidy profit. If it is not so, it is a failure connected with money.

अर्थ के साथ अर्थ का अनुबन्ध-जिस उत्तम नायक के साथ समागम करने पर नायिका को केवल अर्थलाभ ही न हो, अपितु उस का प्रभाव बढ़ जाये, वह अन्य नायकों के लिये आकांक्षा की वस्तु बन जाये, वे समागम हेतु प्रार्थना करें और नायिका को अर्थ की प्राप्ति हो तो यह अर्थ प्रथम या प्रधान अर्थ के साथ सम्बद्ध होने के कारण अर्थोऽर्थानुबन्धः (अर्थ का अर्थ के साथ अनुबन्ध) कहलाता है ॥ १३ ॥

लाभमात्रे कस्यचिदन्यस्य गमनं सोऽथ निरनुबन्धः ॥ १४ ॥
If she sleeps with just anyone solely for gain, the relationship is a purely commercial one.

अन्यार्थपरिग्रहे सक्तादायतिच्छेदनमर्थस्य निष्क्रमणं लोकविद्विष्टस्य वा नीचस्य गमनमायतिघ्नमर्थोऽनर्थानुबन्धः ॥ १५ ॥
By accepting money from someone else, she risks losing the affection of her faithful lover, who will cut off her allowance, so that there will be a money loss. Furthermore, she incurs everybody's contempt. Or else, by sleeping with men of lowly status, she risks losing his esteem. In this case, the gain is accompanied by a loss.

अर्थ के साथ अनर्थ का अनुबन्ध-नायक के हाथों पराया (चुराया हुआ) अर्थ लेने से वेश्या का प्रभाव कम होता है और वह अर्थ भी निकल जाता है अथवा लोकद्रोही या अधम पुरुष के साथ समागम करने से प्रभाव कम होता है और ऐसा अर्थ अनेक अनर्थों को उत्पन्न करता है, अतएव इसे अर्थोऽनुधनुबन्धः (अर्थ के साथ अनर्थ का अनुबन्ध) कहते हैं ॥ १५ ॥
