अथ चित्ररतानि ॥ ३६ ॥
Unusual or special sexual practices [chitra] will now be described. Certain of which are surprising [adbhuta].

चित्ररत- प्रकरण अब चित्ररत समागम की अद्भुत विधियों को कहते हैं ॥ ३६ ॥

ऊर्ध्वस्थितयोर्यूनोः परस्परापाश्रययोः कुड्यस्तम्भापाश्रितयोर्वा स्थितरतम् ॥ ३७ ॥
Standing intercourse [sthitarata] : Both are standing against each other, leaning against a wall or column.

पहले स्थितरत (खड़े होकर समागम) का विधान बताते हैं-जब स्त्री-पुरुष एक-दूसरे के सहारे या दीवार अथवा स्तम्भ (खम्बा) के सहारे खड़े होकर समागम करते हैं, तो उसे स्थितरत कहते हैं॥ ३७ ॥

कुड्यापाश्रितस्य कण्ठावसक्तबाहुपाशायास्तद्धस्तपञ्जरोपविष्टाया ऊरुपाशेन जघनमभिवेष्टयन्त्या कुडो चरणक्रमेण बलन्त्या अवलम्बितकं रतम् ॥ ३८ ॥
Hanging [avalambitaka] : The boy stands leaning against a wall. The girl sits on the seat formed by his two hands. Encircling his neck with her arms, she stretches her legs along the wall, imprisoning him between her thighs. This is the hanging position.

अवलम्बितक जब पुरुष दीवार के सहारे खड़ा हो, उसके कण्ठ में बाहुपाश डाले हुए स्त्री उसके मिले हुए दोनों हाथों (हस्तपंजर) पर बैठी हुई हो, और अपनी जाँघों से पुरुष की जाँघों को लपेटकर, दीवार पर पैर लगाकर झूला झूलती हुई-सी समागम कर रही हो, तो वह अवलम्बितक आसन कहलाता है॥ ३८ ॥

भूमौ वा चतुष्पदंवदास्थिताया वृषलीलयावस्कन्दनं धेनुकम् ॥ ३९ ॥
The cow [dhenuka] : The woman places herself on all fours on the ground, in the posture of the cow ready for the bull's assault. This is the position of "the cow."

धेनुक स्त्री हाथों और पैरों को भूमि पर टिकाकर पशु (गाय) के समान खड़ी हो जाये और पुरुष साँड़ के समान उसके साथ समागम करे, तो यह धेनुक आसन होता है ॥ ३९ ॥
