ऊर्ध्वावूरू व्यत्यस्येदिति पीडितकम् ॥ ३१ ॥

पीड़ितक यदि समागमकाल में स्त्री अपनी दाहिनी जाँघ को बायीं ओर ले जाये और बाँयीं जाँघ को दाहिनी ओर तो इसे पीड़ितक आसन कहते हैं ॥ ३१ ॥

पद्मासन-चित लेटी हुई स्त्री जब अपने बायें पैर को दाहिनी जाँघ की जड़ में और दाहिने पैर को बाँयाँ जाँच की जड़ में रख ले, तो इसे पद्मासन कहा जाता है ॥ ३२ ॥

पृष्ठं परिष्वजमानायाः पराङ्मुखेण परावृत्तकमाभ्यासिकम् ॥ ३३ ॥
The spin [paravrittaka] : Embracing from behind the woman who has her back to him, he turns her round. This is the spin, which requires practice.

परावृत्तक–मुख के बल लेटी स्त्री के साथ पुरुष पीठ की ओर से समागम कर, तो इसे परावृत्तक आसन कहते हैं यह आभ्यासिक अर्थात् अभ्यास से सिद्ध होने वाला आसन परावृत्तक आसन कहते हैँ । यह आभ्यासिक अर्थात् अभ्यास से सिद्ध होने वाला आसन है ॥ ३३॥

जले च संविष्टोपविष्टस्थितात्मकश्चित्रान्योगानुपलक्षयेत् । तथा सुकरत्वादिति सुवर्णनाभः ॥ ३४ ॥
Making love in the water [jalasambhoga] : According to Suvarnanabha, certain positions can be practiced immersed or half-immersed in water. Many amusing positions can be practiced in this way, since they are easier.

जलसंभोग - जल में भी खड़े होकर बैठकर और लेटकर नानाविध आसनों से जैसे समागम कर सके, करे। यह स्थल की अपेक्षा सरल भी है और मनोरंजक भी ऐसा आचार्य सुवर्णनाभ का मत है ॥ ३४ ॥

वार्तं तु तत् । शिष्टैरपस्मृतत्वादिति वात्स्यायनः ॥ ३५ ॥
According to Vatsyayana, all this is senseless, since this way of behaving is not envisaged by respectable persons.
