हस्वानि कर्मसहिष्णूनि विकल्पयोजनासु च स्वेच्छापातीनि दाक्षिणा- त्यानाम् ॥ १० ॥
The southern peoples' nails are small, resistant, well suited for practicing any kind of scratching, and can easily be inserted anywhere.

दक्षिण देशवासियों के नख छोटे तथा अर्धचन्द्र आदि नखक्षतों में मनोनुकूल चलने वाले होते हैं ॥ १० ॥
