दुर्भगा तु सापत्नकपीडिता या तासामधिकमिव पत्यावुपचरेत् तामाश्रयेत् । प्रकाम्यानि च कलाविज्ञानानि दर्शयेत् । दौर्भाग्याद्रहस्यानामभावः ।। ४५ ।।
If one of the other wives suffers from barrenness, the widow shows more attention to her than to those that have children, and protects her. If she so desires, she teaches her the arts.
english translation
दुर्भगावृत्त – दुर्भगा तो सपत्नियों से पीड़ित होती है, अतः उसे ऐसी सपत्नी का आश्रय लेना चाहिये जिसे पति अधिक प्रेम एवं सम्मान देता हो। दर्शनीय कलाओं को उसे दिखाये, क्योंकि वैदग्ध्य ही दुभंगता की निवृत्ति का कारण है ।। ४५ ।।
