कुर्वन्नेवेह कर्माणि जिजीविषेत् शतं समाः। एवं त्वयि नान्यथेतोऽस्ति न कर्म लिप्यते नरे ॥२॥
A man should aspire to live a hundred years only while doing work in this world. O human! There is only this type of law for you, there is no other type other than this, thus, by desiring to live only while doing work, a person does not get coated with karma.

इस संसार में कर्म करते हुए ही मनुष्य को सौ वर्ष जीने की इच्छा करनी चाहिये। हे मानव! तेरे लिए इस प्रकार का ही विधान है, इससे भिन्न किसी और प्रकार का नहीं है, इस प्रकार कर्म करते हुए ही जीने की इच्छा करने से मनुष्य में कर्म का लेप नहीं होता।
