दानं धेनो रुद्ररोद्रीमुखानं भाग्यो भानुर्गोत्रजायानखेन। पुत्री नित्यं मृत्युभागाः क्रमाद्वै मेषादीनां तेषु जातो गतायुः॥४६॥
The fateful degrees in the several signs from Mesha onwards are in their order 8, 9, 22, 22, 25, 14, 4, 23, 18, 20, 21 and 10. One born in these degrees (in the Lagna) will die soon. ( Cf. सारावली, where it is stated almost in similar terms, except for Kanya whose fateful degree is 1°. But there it is stated that these are the fateful degrees of the Moon in the several signs.)

चान्द्रं रूपं लोकशूरो वग्ज्ञः कुड्ये चित्रं भाग्यलोको मुखानाम्। मेने राज्यं मृत्युभागाः प्रदिष्टा मेषादीनां वर्णसंख्याभिरिन्दोः॥४७॥
The fateful degrees of the Moon in the several signs beginning with Mesha are in their order 26. 12, 13, 25, 24, 11, 26, 14, 13, 25, 5 and 12. (This agrees fully with बृहत्प्राजापत्य; the wording of फलदीपिका, is the same.)

मृत्युभागगतश्चन्द्रः पापयुक्तो न सौम्ययुक। निधने वाऽपि केन्द्रे वा मात्रा सह विनश्यति॥४८॥
When the Moon occupying the fateful portion of a sign is associated with malefics without any benefics, or is posited in the 8th or a Kendra house, the child will die along with its mother.

लग्रेशो बलयुक्तश्चेत् त्रिकोणे केन्द्रगोऽपि वा। अरिष्टयोगे जातोऽपि बालो जीवति निश्चयात् ॥ ४९ ॥
Though born in an Arishta yoga, a child will certainly live long, provided the lord of the Lagna is strong and occupies a Kendra or Trikona house.

बली केन्द्रोपगः सौम्यो निधनेशविवर्जितः। अरिष्टयोगनाशाय प्रश्ने वा जननेऽपि वा॥५०॥
A strong benefice unassociated with the lord of the 8th house and occupying a Kendra conduces to the nullification of an Arishta yoga at birth or query.
