अथ शङ्खचक्रसमुद्रमहेन्द्र योगास्तत्फलानि च॥ धर्मायोदय बन्धुभेषु सहितैः शङ्खः समस्तैर्ग्रह- र्लग्नाद्यैर्विषमर्क्षगैश्च सकलेश्चक्रं मुनीन्द्रा जगुः। वित्ताद्येषु तथैव षट्सु भवनेषूक्तो ग्रहैर्वारिधिः सर्वैर्द्व्यन्तरगैस्तथैव च खगैर्योगः शचीवल्लभः॥५३॥
When all the planets occupy the 9th, the 11th, the 1st and the 4th houses, Sankha (शङ्ख) Yoga is formed. If all the planets occupy the 6 odd houses, the Yoga produced is Chakra (चक्र), so the sages have said. If the 7 planets be ranged in the 6 houses beginning with the 2nd house and separated from one another by an intervening (planetless) house, the resulting Yoga is called समुद्र (Samudra). When all the planets similarly occupy houses separated by two intervening houses, the Yoga is termed Indra (इन्द्र).
