प्रातर्दयुतप्रसङ्गेन मध्याह्ने स्त्रीप्रसङ्गतः । रात्रौ चौरप्रसङ्गेन कालो गच्छन्ति धीमताम् ॥११॥

In the morning the wise people pass their time with the story of gamblers i.e. Mahabharata, in the afternoon with women's stories i.e. Ramayana and at night with the talk of a thief i.e. God.

english translation

प्रातः काल में जुआरियों की कथा से अर्थात महाभारत से, मध्याह में स्त्रीप्रसंग से अर्थात रामायण से रात्रि में चोर की वार्ता से अर्थात भगवान की वार्ता से बुद्धिमानो का समय बीतता हैI
