सकृज्जल्पन्ति राजानः सकृज्जल्पन्ति पण्डिताः । सकृत्कन्याः प्रदीयन्तेत्रीण्येतानि सकृत्सकृत् ॥११II
The king gives orders only once, the pundit speaks only once and a girl is married only once; All this work is done only once.

राजा केवल एक ही बार आज्ञा देतें हैं, पंडित केवल एक बार ही बोलते हैं तथा कन्या का विवाह एक ही बार किया जाता है; यह सब कार्य एक ही बार होता है।

एकाकिना तपो द्वाभ्यां पठनं गायनं त्रिभिः । चतुर्भिर्गमनं क्षेत्रं पञ्चभिर्बहुभी रणः ॥१२II
If you do penance, do it alone, if you practice, do it with others, if you sing, do it with three people, if you do agriculture, do it with four people, and if you do war, do it with many people together.

यदि आप तप करते है तो अकेले करें, अभ्यास करते है तो दूसरे के साथ करें, गायन करते है तो तीन लोग करें, कृषि चार लोग करें और युद्ध अनेक लोग मिलकर करेंI

वही भार्या (पत्नी) है जो पवित्र और चतुर है, वही भार्या है जो पतिव्रता है, वही भार्या है जिस पर पति की प्रीति है, कही भार्या है जो सत्य बोलती है।

The house of a sonless person is desolate. One who has no relatives, all his directions are desolate. The heart of a foolish person is desolate and everything of a poor person is desolate.

पुत्रहीन व्यक्ति का घर उजाड़ है। जिसे कोई सम्बन्धी नहीं है उसकी सभी दिशाएँ उजाड़ है। मूर्ख व्यक्ति का ह्रदय उजाड़ है और निर्धन व्यक्ति का सब कुछ उजाड़ है।
