It is appropriate to sacrifice a member for the protection of the clan, to sacrifice a clan for the protection of the village, to sacrifice a village for the protection of the country and to sacrifice the country for the protection of the soul.

english translation

कुल की रक्षा के लिए एक सदस्य का बिलदान देना, गाँव की रक्षा के लिए एक कुल का बिलदान देना, देश की रक्षा के लिए एक गाँव का बिलदान देना तथा आत्मा की रक्षा के लिए देश का बिलदान देना उचित है।
