यस्य स्नेहो भयं तस्य स्नेहो दुःखस्य भाजनम् । स्नेहमूलानि दुःखानि तानि त्यक्त्वा वसेत्सुखम् II६II

sanskrit

The one who has love is afraid of that person. Affection is the hymn of sorrow and the cause of all happiness. Therefore, it is better to leave him and be happy.

english translation

जिसको जिसमे प्रीति रहती है, उसको उसी का भय रहता है। स्नेह दुःख का भजन और सभी सुखों का कारण है। अतः उसे छोड़ कर सुखी होना उचित है।

yasya sneho bhayaM tasya sneho duHkhasya bhAjanam | snehamUlAni duHkhAni tAni tyaktvA vasetsukham II6II
