बन्धाय विषयासङ्गो मुक्त्यै निर्विषयं मनः । मन एव मनुष्याणां कारणं बन्धमोक्षयोः ॥१२II
The mind attached to objects is the cause of bondage and the mind devoid of objects is the cause of liberation, hence mind is the cause of bondage or liberation of human beings.
