A person who performs unstable actions does not get any happiness whether he lives in the forest or among the people because his heart burns due to meeting people and in the forest because of not being able to meet people.

hk transliteration

खनित्वा हि खनित्रेण भूतले वारि विन्दति । तथा गुरुगतां विद्यां शुश्रूषुरधिगच्छति ॥१७II

sanskrit

If a man takes help of a shovel, he can also extract underground water. Similarly, a student can acquire the Guru's wealth of knowledge with the help of his Guru's service.

कर्मायत्तं फलं पुंसां बुद्धिः कर्मानुसारिणी । तथापि सुधियश्चार्या सुविचार्यैव कुर्वते ॥१८II

We get the fruits of our actions and our intellect is always inspired by our previous actions. Therefore, intelligent people act after thinking.

The one who does not worship the Guru while giving even a single syllable, is born as a Chandala after suffering through the hundred incarnations of a dog.

When the Yuga ends, Mount Meru will shake, when the Kalpa ends, the waters of the seven oceans will be disturbed, but a sage will never deviate from his spiritual path.
