यस्य सेहो भयं तस्य सेहो दुःखस्य भाजनम् । सेहमूलानि दुःखानि तानि त्यक्त्वा वसेत्सुखम् ॥६II

sanskrit

The one who has love is afraid of that person. The field is the hymn of sorrow and the cause of all happiness. Therefore, it is better to leave him and be happy.

english translation

जिसको जिसमे प्रीति रहती है, उसको उसी का भय रहता है। खेत दुःख का भजन और सभी सुखों का कारण है। अतः उसे छोड़ कर सुखी होना उचित है।

अनागतविधाता च प्रत्युत्पन्नमतिस्तथा । द्वावेतौ सुखमेधेते यद्भविष्यो विनश्यति ॥७II

sanskrit

The one who takes measures in advance for future calamities and whose intellect quickly comes up with a solution when a calamity occurs, both of them grow in happiness and the one who thinks that whatever is going to happen due to luck will happen, will be doomed. Whoever will go.

english translation

भविष्य में आने वाली विपत्ति के लिए पहले से उपाय करने वाला और जिसकी बुद्धि में विपत्ति आ जाने पर शीघ्र उपाय भी आ जाता है, यह दोनों सुख से बढ़ते हैं और जो यह सोचता है की भाग्यवश जो होनेवाला है वह होकर ही रहेगा, वह विनष्ट जो जायेगा।

राज्ञि धर्मिणि धर्मिष्ठाः पापे पापाः समे समाः । राजानमनुवर्तन्ते यथा राजा तथा प्रजाः ॥८II

sanskrit

If the king is a virtuous soul then the subjects are also like him. If the king is a sinner then the people are also sinners. If he is normal then the people are normal, the king is an example in front of the people. And she follows him.

english translation

यदि राजा पुण्यात्मा है तो प्रजा भी वैसी ही होती है। यदि राजा पापी है तो प्रजा भी पापी है। यदि वह सामान्य है तो प्रजा सामान्य है, प्रजा के सामने राजा ही उदाहरण होता है। और वो उसका अनुसरण करती है।

धर्मार्थकाममोक्षाणां यस्यैकोऽपि न विद्यते । अजागलस्तनस्येव तस्य जन्म निरर्थकम् ॥१०II

The life of a person who has neither acquired any knowledge, nor earned money, nor fulfilled what is necessary for liberation, is as meaningless as the breasts dangling from the neck of a goat.

english translation

जिस व्यक्ति ने न ही कोई ज्ञान संपादन किया, ना ही पैसा कमाया, मुक्ति के लिए जो आवश्यक है उसकी पूर्ति भी नहीं की, उसका जीवन बकरी की गर्दन से झूलने वाले स्तनों के तरह व्यर्थ है।
