Charak Samhita
पुण्यशब्दो विपापत्वान्मनोवाक्कायकर्मणाम्। धर्मार्थकामान् पुरुषः सुखी भुङ्क्ते चिनोति च ॥३०॥
॥ Importance of this restraint॥ The virtuous one, who is free from all evil deeds of mind, speech and body, is indeed happy and enjoys the fruits of dharma (virtue), artha(wealth), and kama (desires).

puNyazabdo vipApatvAnmanovAkkAyakarmaNAm। dharmArthakAmAn puruSaH sukhI bhuGkte cinoti ca ॥30॥
