Charak Samhita
युगपत् षड्रसं षण्णां संसर्गे पाचनं भवेत् । निरामाणां तु पञ्चानां बस्तिः षाड्रसिको मतः॥३५॥
In atisara, if all six pathological components are simultaneously involved, a pachana (causing or promoting digestion or transformation) medicine containing the drugs of all six tastes is useful, while in nirama (without ama) condition, where other five are involved a basti consisting of all six rasas (tastes) is indicated.
