विरेचनहृतानाहो यस्तृष्णानुगतो नरः। विरिक्तः पुनराध्माति यथा प्रेतस्तथैव सः ॥१०॥
[Poor prognosis after Virechana (therapeutic purgation)] If abdominal distension of a patient is relieved by purgation for short time and then patient develops thirst, distension of abdomen and severe pain again, then such patient should be considered as a ghost i.e. the patients will surely die soon.
