अश्वगन्धामपामार्गं तर्कारीं मधुकं बलाम्। विदारीं सर्षपं कुष्ठं तण्डुलानतसीफलम् ॥१७६॥

माषांस्तिलांश्च किण्वं च सर्वमेकत्र चूर्णयेत्। यवचूर्णत्रिगुणितं दध्ना युक्तं समाक्षिकम् ॥१७७॥

एतदुत्सादनं कार्यं पुष्टिवर्णबलप्रदम्। गौरसर्षपकल्केन कल्कैश्चापि सुगन्धिभिः ॥१७८॥
Then the patient should take a bath in water in which have been boiled vitality-enhancing herbs, the paste of white mustard and the paste of fragrant substances, cooling the water to the degree of temperature found congenial in the particular season.

स्नायादृतुसुखैस्तोयैर्जीवनीयौषधैः शृतैः। गन्धैः समाल्यैर्वासोभिर्भूषणैश्च विभूषितः ॥१७९॥
