मद्यं हृदयमाविश्य स्वगुणैरोजसो गुणान् । दशभिर्दश सङ्क्षोभ्य चेतो नयति विक्रियाम् ॥२९॥
[Properties and effects of madya on oja] The madya (liquor) affects heart by counteracting the ojas (the vital essence of body ) and its ten qualities with the ten qualities of (the liquor) itself.
