वाट्यं वाऽऽमयवानां शीतं मधुशर्करायुतं दद्यात् । पेयां वा शालीनां दद्याद्वा कोरदूषाणाम् ॥२८॥
or he may give the top part of half cooked barley gruels cooled and mixed with sugar or he may give the thin gruel of shali rice or of common millets.
