नैव दूष्यति तेनैव समं सम्पद्यते यथा। रात्रौ तु हृदये म्लाने संवृतेष्वयनेषु च। यान्ति कोष्ठे परिक्लेदं संवृते देहधातवः॥२४१॥

naiva dUSyati tenaiva samaM sampadyate yathA। rAtrau tu hRdaye mlAne saMvRteSvayaneSu ca। yAnti koSThe parikledaM saMvRte dehadhAtavaH॥241॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptक्लिन्नेष्वन्यदपक्वेषु तेष्वासिक्तं प्रदुष्यति। विदग्धेषु पयःस्वन्यत् पयस्तप्तमिवार्पितम्॥२४२॥
thus ama adheres to the dhatus and if another food is taken the indigestion causes more apakva ahara rasa causing disease.

klinneSvanyadapakveSu teSvAsiktaM praduSyati। vidagdheSu payaHsvanyat payastaptamivArpitam॥242॥

The condition resembles, wherein uncooked milk mixed with warm milk gets spoiled. Therefore, a wise person should not take meals if food taken at night is not digested; this will surely effect strength and life of a person
