बिडं कालोत्थलवणं सर्जिकायवशूकजम्। सप्तलां कण्टकारीं च चित्रकं चेति दाहयेत्॥१७१॥
॥ Ksharaghrita॥ Bida lavana, kalottha lavana, sarjikakshara, yavakshara, saptala, kanthakari and chitraka are burned together and later on mixed in water and filtered seven times.
english translation
biDaM kAlotthalavaNaM sarjikAyavazUkajam। saptalAM kaNTakArIM ca citrakaM ceti dAhayet॥171॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptसप्तकृत्वः स्रुतस्यास्य क्षारस्य [३९] द्व्याढकेन तु। आढकं सर्पिषः पक्त्वा पिबेदग्निविवर्धनम्॥१७२॥
One adhaka (3.073 kg) of this kshara is added to one adhaka (3.073 kg) of ghrita and sneha siddhi is done. This ksharaghrita is indicated for increasing the digestive power

samUlAM pippalIM pAThAM cavyendrayavanAgaram। citrakAtiviSe hiGgu zvadaMSTrAM kaTurohiNIm॥173॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptवचां च कार्षिकं पञ्चलवणानां पलानि च। दध्नः प्रस्थद्वये तैलसर्पिषोः कुडवद्वये॥१७४॥
and vacha are taken in one karsha (12 gm) quantity each. To this one pala (12 gm) of panchalavana is added along with two prastha of curds and two kudava (384 gm) of taila and ghrita.

vacAM ca kArSikaM paJcalavaNAnAM palAni ca। dadhnaH prasthadvaye tailasarpiSoH kuDavadvaye॥174॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptखण्डीकृतानि निष्क्वाथ्य शनैरन्तर्गते रसे। अन्तर्धूमं ततो दग्धवा चूर्णं कृत्वा घृताप्लुतम्॥१७५॥
The combination is boiled till water is completely evaporated. It is again burned by antaradhooma method and the end product is powdered and mixed with ghee

khaNDIkRtAni niSkvAthya zanairantargate rase। antardhUmaM tato dagdhavA cUrNaM kRtvA ghRtAplutam॥175॥
