श्रेष्ठे हयसिते प्राच्यां शवमांसे च दक्षिणे । कन्यकादधिनी पश्चादुदग्गोविप्रसाधवः ॥ ८६-४५ ॥
The horse and articles of white colour indicate good luck when in the east; corpse and flesh indicate good luck when in the south; virgins and curdled milk indicate good luck when in the west; and the cow, the Sādhus and the Brāhmaṇas indicate good luck when seen in the north.
