सुरभूषणं लतानां सहस्रं अष्टोत्तरं चतुर्हस्तम् । इन्दुच्छन्दो नाम्ना विजयच्छन्दस्तदर्धेन ॥ ८१-३१ ॥
A collection of pearls consisting of 1,008 strings, each 4 cubits long is known as Inducchanda. This must be used as ornaments for the Devas only. A collection of pearls consisting of 504 strings each 2 cubits long is known as Vijayacchanda.
